Area track rules apply to “A” Modified with the exception of Tire Ru= le below.

No Motor Claim

No Car Claim

Modified Weight on CCS Scales Car & Driver after race 2350 lbs.=

8 inch rear spoiler maximum

 

Crawford County Speedway Tire Rule

For - Street Stock – Mini Stock – “A” Modified =

I.M.C.A. Modified Tires

8 inch steel wheel - Bead Locks. OK

KK-704 or KK -704 Short American Racer

I.M.C.A. Hoosier tires-Any 8in. tire - OK

Southwest Speed 8” tires

G60 Dirt American Racer Tire

Hoosier F53-F75-970-880 Asphalt 8” Stamped Tires only. Grooving – O.K.<= o:p>

Grand National Tire Rule – Open Any Tire.

 

Crawford County Speedway 2012 T.E.M.S. Economy Modified

 

1.     Engine: 360 Maximum cu= bic inches with GM block and stock stroke 3.48 cranks. Flat top Pistons. Ford 3= 61 (351 block and stroke). Ford and Mopar must use= OEM parts only.

     Cast iron OEM bl= ocks only! NO aluminum blocks. No Dry sump motors.

  &nb= sp; Lift Rule: .480” @ valve with .030 lash. Roller rockers allowe= d. OK to run shaft rockers.

    No roller camshafts or lifters. No bleed-down lifters.

2.     Cast iron heads only.<= span style=3D'mso-spacerun:yes'>  Vortec= heads ok. 2.02” intake and 1.60” exhaust valves

      maximum. Angle milling ok. Aftermarket heads allowed. Double hump heads ok.

       23 d= egree heads only. Angle plugs allowed. Porting or polishing of heads or intake. O= K.

       Match porting of intake to heads. No aluminum heads. Cast iron heads only allowed=

3.     Alcohol or racing fuel= ok. Maximum carburetor 750 CFM.

4.     No mismatching of engi= ne parts. GM to GM and Ford to Ford, etc.

5.     No Aluminum parts exce= pt intake manifold, pulleys, valve covers, radiators and water pump.

6.     No belt drives fuel pu= mps. Mechanical in stock location as factory installed

7.     Weight 2450 lbs. with car and driver following the race on CCS Scales. No Tolerance!<= /o:p>

8.     Tires: 8” steel = wheel – I.M.C.A. Modified Tires OK. KK-704 or KK 704 Short American Racers.=

     I.M.C.A. Hoosier= Tires OK. Southwest Speed 8” Tires – G60 Dirt American Racer Tire,

     Hoosier F53-F75-970-880 Asphalt 8” Stamped Tires only. Gr= ooving ok.

9.     Steel Wheel only. 10&#= 8221; maximum. Bead locks. OK

10.      =             &nb= sp;     Transmission. Reverse must work.. BER= T, BRINN OR FALCON allowed.

11.      =             &nb= sp;     No direct drive. Car must have working starter and must be able to start on its battery power. Must have blow proof bell housing on standard transmissions.

12.      =             &nb= sp;     Mini clutches ok.

13.      =             &nb= sp;     MSD ignition allowed.

14.      =             &nb= sp;     Driver’s floor must be made of 16-guage steel – NO alum= inum in the floors allowed.

15.      =             &nb= sp;     Please refer to General Rules for additional information. Safety information and Fuel Cell information.

16.      =             &nb= sp;     Claim: NO CLAIM – NO MOTOR CLAIM – NO CAR CLAIM R= 11; No Ignition Claim

17.      =             &nb= sp;     Final notes: Drivers, if it does NOT say it, that doesn’t mea= n you can do it. Call CCS TECH before you do anything to your cars that might be questionable.
