The following Rules for the Front Wheel Drive Division for the 2008 Calendar year. Crawford County Speedway Racing Officials may make at interpretation or Amendment to these rules anytime.
The Rules & Regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events only, and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for successful events. No express or implied warranty of safety shall result from

of the sport, and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to
participants.

BODIES:
Any
Ø Front Wheel Drive Cars must be a complete body and frames as OEM - Street legal for highway driving Complete car must be complete Bumper to Bumper as OEM. Factory Produced.
Ø FRONT & REAR BUMPERS – Must fit under original Bumper Covers. No Bumpers extended out other than O.E.M.
Ø All doors must be welded or bolted shut - All Glass and chrome - Upholstery and plastics must be removed nothing left in body that could cause a fire hazard.
Ø Racing Seats & Belts – Five (5) Point safety Belts - Mandatory - HELMET - Snell 90 or SA 95 rating or better. NO Side Nerf Bars. NONE!!!

Fire Suits. Must have one to race. All
Ø BUMPERS- Front & Rear may be braced - STEERING Quick Release Steering Wheel - OK.
Ø NO CAR CLAIM: $150 Protest Fee. Cash Only. Driver must make protest only. $50 of protest fee will go to drivers point fund. Driver must be a paid registered driver to make a protest.
Ø Fire Extinguishers: All Cars must have a Fire Extinguisher mounted inside of car - Dry type only. All cars must have an aluminum racing seat and be fastened to roll cage - Not bolted to floorboard.
Ø Roll Cage: Must have a (4) point cage with an X brace behind driver. Must have drivers side bar or bars around driver - Left & Right Sides - All Bars must be welded to complete Roll Cage - Must have 3 protect bars or screen in front of driver. Must have outside doorplate, same as Modified rule, Build it Safe.
Ø Fuel: Gasoline Only - Must have OFF & ON Switch for electric fuel Pump In easy reach of driver. No Motor Claim - No Weight Rule - No Weight Limit.
Ø WHEELS & TIRES: Must have OEM Wheels and tires. No racing wheels or tires. Both Front Tires - Left & Right must be same size. Example - 195-65-R15. Both Rear Tires - Left & Right - must be the same size. 185-65-R-15. All 4 wheels must be of same size. Each tire must gauge 20 lbs. of air pressure following a race.
Ø CAR NUMBER: Car Number must be clearly
marked – 24” height & 3” stripe width. No Duck tape letters. Must be
different color than that of the racecar. If the scorers can’t read it
from the tower you will not be scored for that night.
Ø This
division of cars must be strictly Stock. No Modifications to chassis or Body - Street - OEM ONLY.
A FRONT WHEEL DRIVER CANNOT RACE IN ANY OTHER CLASS EXCEPT FWD Only
- NO MODIFIED
Special Races Excluded – They are open to all Drivers of any Class to race in. All drivers must race 20 nights or have 500 points to qualify for Awards or Point Fund money.
